Altar Society & Confraternity of Christian Mothers
The Altar Society & Confraternity of Christian Mothers has been a part of Sts. Peter and Paul Church since 1914. The organization contributes greatly to the parish. Its annual activities include funeral luncheons for members of the Parish, honor guards at member's funerals, the purchase and care of holiday flowers for the church altars, Christmas outreach for shut-ins, and the care and cleaning of cassocks and surplices. The annual budget pays for many items, including altar bread and wine, candles, palms, and holiday flowers. Our major fundraiser is the annual Smorgasboard Card Party held on the last Wednesday of July.
Beginning in September, the Altar Society and Confraternity of Christian Mothers meet every month on the third Monday in the school lunchroom.
